This place was really crowded and the sand area was really small. Definitely better freshwater beaches in the area to visit.
Lots of parking, places to picnic and grill. Nice beach area and the lake was good for small boats. They have camping sites for over nite. Not far from Tamaqua if you need groceries. Lots of trails to walk. State Park Rangers are on site. Good place to bring the kids and cool off.
